Fred Bullock
- Biography
As Vice President of Business Solutions, Fred
is responsible for the development of innovative Professional
Services and Productivity Solutions offerings for clients
in the Telecom, government and general business sectors.
Fred recently joined Mariner from Brovada
Technologies where he was responsible for Finance, Operations
and Professional Services. During this time he was intimately
involved with the company’s research and development
of data integration solutions for the Insurance industry
as well as the company’s rapid growth from a staff
of 2 to more than 30 within 3 years.
Prior to Brovada Technologies, Fred held numerous
technical and business management roles within other start-up
and early stage technology companies including: Product
Manager at Kinek Technologies, a provider of e-Logistics
and Secure Payment solutions; Infrastructure Engineer and
Director of Data Center Architecture for the Exigen Group,
based in San Francisco, CA; and Systems Integration Consultant
for Connectivity Contact Centre Solutions, a pioneer in
hosted Computer Telephony applications.
In the early 1990’s, Fred was primarily
involved in IT, communications and engineering research
for a large freight Transportation company. During this
time, he founded MicroDynamics, a company which developed
infrastructure management systems for engineering firms,
municipal and provincial governments as well as another
unrelated enterprise which operates an outfitting business
for salmon fishermen, www.tuckawaycabins.com, on the famed
Miramichi River.
Fred has a Bachelor of Commerce and Engineering
Certificate from Mount Allison University as well as Master
of Science in Transportation Engineering from the University
of New Brunswick. He is also an early alumnus of the Shad
Valley program for Technology and Entrepreneurship based
in Waterloo, ON.
