Trent Pomeroy
- Biography
As VP of IPTV Consulting Services, Trent brings a
wide range of experience in the areas of operations, software
development and IPTV deployment. Trent has over 30 years
of experience in the telecommunications industry, and 10
years specifically focused on IPTV.
Prior to joining Mariner, Trent held a variety
of positions at NBTel, New North Media, iMagicTV and Alcatel-Lucent,
including Chief Architect, Director of Quality Assurance
and Director of Customer Solutions. As chief architect at
iMagicTV (later acquired by Alcatel), he was responsible
for the design and architecture of the Media Manager middleware
product suite. As Director of Customer Delivery for Alcatel-Lucent,
Trent led the successful delivery and deployment of IPTV
solutions for Alcatel-Lucent telecommunications customers
world-wide.
Trent’s educational background includes
a Diploma in Telecommunications Electronics, and various
technology and leadership courses over his career.
