Suzanne Tucker
Suzanne Tucker
- Biography
Prior to joining Mariner as Comptroller, Suzanne
held a number of senior accounting positions at J.D. Irving,
Irving Oil Ltd, Bell Aliant, and the Province of New Brunswick.
She brings a wide range of experience in the areas of strategic
planning and performance management, in addition to financial
and accounting leadership.
Throughout her career, Suzanne has been instrumental
in the development and implementation of improved accounting and
reporting systems, including the Balanced Scorecard and dashboard
reporting.
Suzanne is a Certified Management Accountant, and
holds both Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of
Business Administration degrees from the University of New
Brunswick. Her thesis research work on the Balanced Scorecard
was presented at the international Academy of Management Annual
Meeting in Philadelphia, PA, in August, 2007. She is a member
of the Board of Directors for CMA New Brunswick, and a part-time
instructor in Advanced Management Accounting at the University
of New Brunswick. She is also a “Green Belt” in the Six Sigma
improvement methodology.
