The approval by New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) as part of their Real Time Energy Management (RTEM) program will allow SHIFT Energy to offer cost share incentives to its commercial customers in the New York state.
NYSERDA’s RTEM program is designed to increase ROI on a customer’s sustainability investment by off-setting cost of capital to deploy between the vendor and NYSERDA. By definition SHIFT Energy’s EOS is an ideal system provider – a RTEM system is a cutting-edge technology that transforms the way you manage, consume, and buy energy. RTEM systems continuously collect live and historical performance data through a cloud-based or on-site system. That data can be analyzed to uncover optimization opportunities for the site’s energy usage. Sensors, meters, and other equipment, along with data analytics and information services, show how your building or facility is performing at any point, in real time.
“This is where SHIFT’s software is different from most RTEM system providers,“ points out Daryl Letto, SHIFT Energy VP of Solutions Engineering “EOS does not rely on human intervention as traditional dashboarding or fault detection and analytic solutions do. EOS autonomously manages the energy cost in real-time within the building automation system operating parameters while maintaining the required comfort conditions.”
SHIFT Energy’s EOS is a highly secure cloud-based software that works with existing building systems to automatically reduce energy costs and GHG emissions in a wide variety of buildings. It integrates with all building information and control systems, including building automation systems, to gather minute-by-minute operational data and store it in the cloud. EOS analyzes that data, along with weather, real-time electricity pricing, occupancy and event schedules and uses Artificial Intelligence to determine how to maximize everyone’s comfort while saving the most money. Energy costs are reduced up to 20% and day-to-day operations simplified without giving up comfort or operational compliance. EOS is the perfect solution to make a smart building smarter.
SHIFT Energy, a member of the Mariner group of companies, developed Energy Optimization Software (EOS) to make smart buildings smarter by automatically optimizing energy used in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting. EOS uses big data analytics, cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence to improve comfort for building occupants, increase the life of major building systems, reduce energy costs and HGH emissions. SHIFT Energy works with companies like EllisDon and BGIS to offer solutions for venues and arenas, healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, airports and data-centres.
